In a bid to support the burgeoning prospects of Blendco LLC, Clark Logic is spearheading a substantial expansion endeavor in St. Joseph, Michigan. The rehabilitation initiative, located at 211 Kerth St., gained momentum in July following the approval of an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption during a St. Joseph City Commission meeting.

Blendco, propelled by recent success and the pressing need for increased storage and manufacturing capacity, is poised for significant growth. Jamie Clark, the President of Clark Logic, expressed enthusiasm for facilitating Blendco’s expansion in a press release, stating, “We’re delighted to be creating a space that enables Blendco to continue its remarkable growth. Taking on demanding and challenging projects is central to Clark Logic’s mission, allowing us to support local businesses and enhance the economies of the communities we serve.”

The project is anticipated to yield between three to five new employment opportunities at the location, which had remained vacant since 2003. Once the project is finalized, Blendco will lease the space. Construction work was scheduled to commence later in the same year.

Cathy Tilley, the Director of Business Development at Cornerstone Alliance, played a pivotal role in securing the approval for the Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption. She lauded Clark Logic’s ongoing investments in the community for generating employment opportunities and fostering growth. Tilley noted, “They are currently in the process of renovating a building that has been vacant for decades, transforming it into a fully operational facility that will immediately cater to Blendco’s expansion needs.”

Blendco, with its roots dating back a quarter of a century, specializes in dry blending facilities, ensuring precise outcomes and microbiologically clean products.

Cornerstone Alliance, a nonprofit organization governed by investors, is dedicated to economic development in southwest Michigan. Clark Logic, on the other hand, offers comprehensive transportation, logistics, facility, and real estate solutions to businesses, regardless of their size, across southwest Michigan and northern Indiana. The company maintains an office in Elkhart.
